Serverless gives you an API. GPU rental gives you the machine.
With Serverless, AxForge runs the infrastructure and you pay for API usage. With GPU rental, you get a dedicated machine with SSH access and run the stack yourself.
Use Serverless when you mainly want model calls. Rent a GPU when you need your own environment, your own model, custom software, persistent processes or dedicated capacity.
